Greenfield McClain Alumni Class Of 1990-1999

I graduated in 1996 and went to Ohio University-Chillicothe and obtained an associates degree. In 1999 I moved to Columbus and got a job at BMW Financial Services in Dublin OH. I worked there for about 6 years. In the midst of that time – I got married to Bill Barnes (also class of 1996) — who was my high school sweetheart — (aaawwwhhh)… We moved home a few years ago and built a house down the road from where I lived growing up. We just recently were blessed with a baby girl — gosh I say recently — but she’ll be a year old in 2 weeks!! Time Flies. I am currently working part time at a small trucking company – which allows me to spend time with my daughter. I haven’t accomplished any great things in my life — just living it day to day is hard enough for me.

Hello everybody! Greetings from California. I went to college @ OU for a few years. That really didn’t work out… I got married to my high school sweetheart. That really didn’t work out either… Now I live in Hollyweird, and I am playing the Bass Guitar for a little band called Bourbon County. Look us up. Well…Let’s see…I graduated in 1996, attended Cleveland State University where I played basketball and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2000. I work for a small trucking company in Greenfield, but hope to do something else very soon…..I have an amazing 5 year old daughter, Cierra Blake — who LOVES cheerleading (hope she might grow out of??..lol)…My life has changed dramatically over the last year. Anyway…I think this is a cool site

Well I am not proud of it but I did not actually Graduate I quit in 95?. I want to apologize to all my classmates for not being there to Graduate with them. I did attend the reunion this year but felt like i should not have been there. Got reunited with all my friends. Thanks for letting me and my wife be there.

Went to McClain on and off, didnt actually graduate from there but still considered Greenfield home. I have 2 beautiful Daughters ages 12 and 8. A wonderful Hubby i just celebrated my 4 yr anniversary with. I attended Buckeye Hills Career center in Rio Grande and graduated with my LPN in 01. Went to SSCC and Graduuated with my ADN in 07. Working now as an RN in homecare taking care of kids with severe disabilities, trachs, vents, etc. Love life (most of the time) and spend my free time learning new crafts or sewing. Studied Computer Science @ OUC, moved to Texas for a spell and settled back in Greenfield currently working at Greenfield Research.

Still living in Greenfield. Married to Jarred Combs, I have three wonderful children. Zach is 16, Ashtyn is 8 and Anslee is 21 months. The kids keep me busy. Zach is in Baseball and Basketball so we are busy with sports. Ashtyn is in summer I work at Walmart Dist. and Fayette Memorial Hospital.

I am a single parent. I currently live in Greenfield. I have two daughters Kimberly is 11 and Tabitha is 6. I graduated Southern State Community College in March of 2007. I am now a Licensed Practical Nurse working in the Home Health Care field.

After Graduation of course I traveled back and forth to Nashville to try my hand at a singing deal. That panned out but it hasn’t deterred the desire to continue my hobby. I was blessed with a baby boy in July of 2002 & he’s 9 now. Kenton T.J. Cropper. I survived several car wrecks from different years back and a motorcycle crash in 1999. PAY ATTENTION TO MOTORCYCLES FRIENDS. WE ARE OUT THERE !. I would pay attention to the warnings of a video I produced about how dangerous drinking & driving can be. Not only for you, But for the others on the road & the farm animals around you. Something can get killed. To bad I didn’t until now. I enjoy a easy stress free lifestyle living on my farm out in Ross county

Wow! It has been along time. Well since I graduated I got married and have been separated for 10 years now. I work full time as a activity director in long term care. I graduated from Shawnee State in 2002 with my BA in Psychology. I’ve been working at Hamilton County Developmental Disability Services since 2003. I am currently working on my Master’s in mental health counseling. I have a wonderful husband and two great kids. Elena is 3 and Alex is almost 1. They take up all of my time, but it’s worth it.

I am a mother of one gorgeous little boy. Am a student in medical transcription. Haven’t really been up to much since HS. Starting and raising my family, doing a damn good job of it so far. Looking to find old friends and apologize to others for being such a self absorbed b*tch back in the day. I know, most teenagers are but I regret the way I treated people back then.

I have lived the last 6 years in Springfield, Ohio with my wife Katy of 8 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters Olivia (3 1/2) and Amelia (18 months). I am employed as a Corrections Officer with Champaign County. I look forward to hearing from any of my former classmates.

Moved to Marysville OH in Jan 97 with my beautiful daughter Logan. Began working at Honda in March 97. Married in 2001 divorced in 2004 (got my divorce papers in the mail on what would have been the 3 year anniversary. greatest gift ever) Remarried in 2006 to a wonderful man. Hi, everyone. After graduating in 1992, I majored in Advertising at Southern New Hampshire University. I am mom to three amazing human beings, Zarse, Holly and Christian. Zarse went to be with Jesus in 2008. I am a marketing coach and brand strategist for women entrepreneurs. I am involved in the important work of Concerned Families for ATV Safety, a group advocating for the safety of children and stronger ATV legislation (http://atvsafetynet.org/). I have been married for 14 years this month. I have 2 good kids (well as good as kids can be) Austin is 13 and Hannah is 9. I live in Leesburg buying a house there and have been in it for 3 years now. I still work for my mom working with MRDD Love it.

After I graduated in ’97, I started College at Ohio University of Chillicothe. I stayed there for 2 years before transferring to Wilmington College where I graduated in 2002 with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I then taught 2 years of Kindergarten at Greenfield Elementary School. In June of 2004 I got married to my husband B.J. We then moved to Pickerington, Ohio. I then taught a year of Kindergarten at The Goddard School of Reynoldsburg. Trying to get into the public school system, I started subbing in the Pickerington and Bloom-Carroll school districts. I got a long-term sub job for a Kindergarten teacher at Carroll Elementary. Unable to find any position in the public system, I am now teaching Kindergarten at the Kinder care in Westerville and so far I like it very much. No kids yet…I like sleep too much, haha. But, I’m sure they’ll come eventually.

I am a phlebotomist. I have three kids. I am currently divorced but getting ready to get married to the right person.

I’m a Soldier (13.5 years), writer (published author) and most importantly, a workaholic. I absolutely love writing, watching sports, lifting weights, running and music. Outside of the military, my kids, fiancée (and her son) are my number one priority. My goal is to be the absolute best in everything that I do, in a non-egotistical manner. By having that type of attitude, I know that I earned my accomplishments. I respect the opinions of others and will do anything to support both Soldiers and non-military personnel even if it means sacrificing all of my personal time.

Well, After school I had 4 wonderfull children. Went through a lot of hard knocks. Was going to a university for my B/A in Business Managment. Moved to North Dakota where I met my husband of 3 years. I now run a non profit charity call Santa’s Sweethearts (and loving it). Own a house, and a camper and pretty content with my life.

I have now been married to my wife, Lori, for over 16 years. We have been blessed with three wonderful children. Caden, Karissa, and Jacey. They all attend Adena Local Schools, where I am currently in my fourth year as the principal of Adena High School. My wife, Lori, teaches at Southeastern. I am also busy taking courses towards my doctorate through the University of Dayton. I started this program in 2020 after completing their superintendent’s licensure program in 2019. Outside of my professional duties, I love hiking, running, taking pictures, and seeking challenges. Over the years I have competed in numerous bodybuilding and powerlifting competitions and I am currently training for my fifth marathon. I love fitness, but I may love photography just as much. You can’t beat a good sunrise pic!

After graduation I moved to Alabama for a while. I became bored with being there so I joined the Airforce in 99. I met my husband Gary while deployed to Qatar and we started dating 3 years later in 07 and were married the same year and had our one and only child Sammy in Dec 09. Gary is still active duty in the Airforce as a k-9 Handler. And I am currently a vet tech in Destin Florida. We visit Greenfield about every two years to see family. I have been living in Union (Dayton Area) for almost 8 years now with my wife Jessica. July 2008 will mark our 7 year Anniversary. No kids, but two beautiful dogs. I am a reporter/anchor for the morning news on Newstalk Radio WHIO and midday host for WMVR Hits 105.5 in Sidney, Ohio. I’m also a volunteer for a Christian Rock Internet station called ThePulseRocks.com. Jessica is an Anatomy teacher at the Miami Valley Career Technology Center where she is in her 8th year.

I recently graduated SSCC and am now waiting to take my NCLEX to become a RN. I have 2 boys, ages 6 and 7, that keep me busy!

Hey, its Brenda. Since High School I have had two kids Richie is 4 and Kalei is 10. I have been married for 9 years now. My brother Nate is serving in Kuwait right now. We are very proud of him! I am a stay at home mom, I have some daycare kids, I also do slideshows for people for weddings, graduations, church stuff and etc. I coach a little league soccer team. My daughter Kalei plays basketball, soccer, and softball. This is Richie’s first year for sports and he is on my soccer team. My husband and I are foster parents and have had 7 foster kids so far. We love doing that. We camp a lot, attend the Emmanuel Christian Church, fish, bowl, and enjoy being with family.

I’m married with two awesome kids. My daughter just turned 12 and is really into softball. My son is 8 and is autistic. I came back to Greenfield and opened a little shop called Christy’s Crafts & Collectables. My husband and I build furniture and other home decor. I spend my time running the store and taking care of my children.

Well, I worked for a while At the Highland County Clerk of Courts office with Paulette Donley got married to a person in the Army had two great children. I am currently divorced and coming back to the lovely area of Greenfield in August. Texas is a nice place to visit but not to live. I’ve been a mother for a little over 10 years and want to go to back to school. I didn’t think I would ever say that. Now my kids will get to be a McClain Tiger. I know the facility will hate to see me in their hallways again lol. Jenny

I am currently residing in the big town of Greenfield again after having lived in Marysville, Ohio for almost ten years. I moved up north after my childrens’ father and I divorced. There I met my current husband, Allen. He is a wonderful husband and father to my sons. I have a 17 y.o. and a 16 y.o. They have given me LOTS of gray hairs over the years, but I love them still. I am \”NANA\” to 2 beautiful grandsons….Ashton, who will be two in January and Carson, who will be a month old on Jan. 2nd. My grandchildren are the light of my life and what keeps my motivated. My husband is a guitar player, so I am an avid music lover. I spend my time these days mostly at home, as I am disabled because of a serious automobile crash six years ago. But, I make the best of every day. I am active in my church and very involved with my family, friends, children and grandchildren. I appreciate every day that God has given me. My husband and I moved back to Greenfield in 2009 after a brief stay in Kentucky, to help care for my grandmother, who passed away not too long after. We returned to Greenfield and bought our first home. The home that my Grandma lived in until she passed away. My husband is originally from Hilliard, Ohio, so small town living has been an adjustment for him…LOL!!! But, he has adjusted and has learned to like our little town!

After graduation, I worked my way around in several different dead end jobs and was married to my first wife the former Angie Rhodes. After marrying Angie I went to the Greenfield Peace Officer’s Training Academy and got hired by the Greenfield Police Department as a contractual dispatcher. Then in 1996 I was hired as a fulltime dispatcher which lasted only four months before I was promoted to a Fulltime Police Officer. Angie and me divorced in 1996 and I met my current wife Karen at the Police Academy at Southern State Community College. After 8 months of dating we were married in December of 2000 and had a beautiful baby boy Dakota in 2001. I also adopted Karen’s little girl Kenzie in 2002 and she become an Oyer as well because she wanted my last name too. Life was good until 2003 when the Police Family was devastated by the death of Sgt. Tim Fryer. After several surgeries in a 5 year time I left the police department in 2006 and went to school at Computertraining.com and got a certification of completion and also became a certified Microsoft Professional. I am currently doing some Federal projects working on computers. I hope to hear from everyone from the class of 1990. If I offended anyone as a GPD officer remember I was doing a job and it wasn’t personal. I am also now a member of the Washington Court House Police Department as an Auxiliary Officer so that I can maintain my certification and continue to teach at the Police Academy at Southern State Community College.

Happily married to Vanessa. I have two beautiful kids and one on the way. I am teaching math at Greenfield Middle School ,which I enjoy. For any other info, see Vanessa’s, she is the boss of the house.

After graduation from High School, Keith and I began dating. We both graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s in Education. We both began teaching at Greenfield Schools following graduation. I started out teaching Special Education for two years and moved to first grade. I have been teaching first grade for the last seven and a half years and I love it! In July of 2002, Keith and I got married and began a family right away. In August of 2003 our daughter, Kyndall Nicole was born. Wow! What a joy! In November of 2005 our son, Kaden Allen was born. Wow! What a handful! Now, I am pregnant again and our second son will be born in February of 2009. (Yes, this will be the last child). Our happy family lives in Greenfield and we are lucky to see many of our close friends and family daily!

In 95? I went to Laurel Oaks. 96? I moved back to Baltimore where I have been living ever since. I two children (John “JC” JR & Tyler Angelo). Never got married but did come close to it. Lets see hmmm well i never got to graduate from hs because i became pregnant with only like 2 months to go before graduating. I quit but i did go back and got my hs diploma what an accomplishment! I married mike brunner we have a son together married for about 20 years and that was enough for me! Divorced him and met a really wonderful guy from new york and believe it or not i ended up having another baby at age 39. That’s right i have two children who are 21 years of age apart from each other. Gosh when i said i was going to start over my life i guess i really meant it! Anyways life has been one adventure at a time but i wouldn’t have traded it for the world. I have a wonderful son and a wonderful daughter a wonderful man and two wonderful step children who btw are grown as well and one is getting ready to have a baby! Even though i had been hit with economic downfall and is seeking employment i am still doing great! I just thank god that i know how to budget money! Life isn’t over for me yet i still have more goals and dreams and am determined to reach them. I refuse to grow old! On my way to going back to school and achieving a business degree to start my own business. Well i guess that is m so far in a nut shell. Oh did i forget that of coarse i am going to school for photography, that’s the business i want to start.

Well hello Greenfield. Things are good in my life. I have 2 beautiful children and a wonderful man!! We will be shortly starting up a mechanic shop and I cant wait for that. I cant complain about life. It’s great!! I am going to get back to coaching and bring home some more trophies. I would love to coach some “tigers” and fulfill the dream that I didnt take- State finals!!
